Parmigiani Fleurier and Sincere Fine Watches have once again joined forces to announce their next exclusive timepiece, the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF Automatic 36mm Sunlit Ivory SHH Edition. Limited to just 50 pieces, this SHH Edition comes with a “Sunlit Ivory” guilloché dial – a colour that the House of Parmigiani Fleurier has specially created for Sincere Fine Watches.
The Tonda PF Automatic 36mm Sunlit Ivory SHH Edition showcases the brand’s meticulous attention to intricate craftsmanship and streamlined aesthetics. With a 36mm diameter, this SHH Edition embraces vintage aesthetics, anchored by the design philosophy of “Do small, think big.” Though slightly reduced in size, it retains the emblematic wide dial opening and comes equipped with the in-house Caliber PF770. The 36mm diameter reflects the brand’s commitment to meeting requests for a version of this timepiece that also fits slimmer wrists. It also caters to the rising demand for smaller sizes among collectors who appreciate the “vintage” aesthetic.
The “Sunlit Ivory” colour adorning the dial of this timepiece is a unique shade of pale cream specially created by the Maison for this SHH Edition. As always, Parmigiani Fleurier has drawn its inspiration from a chromatic palette of colours specific to nature, a creative and artistic approach inspired by the work of the legendary architect Le Corbusier and the purist palette of colours advanced by his Architectural Polychromy essay of 1931. The “Sunlit Ivory” hue is a subtle shade of pale cream, bringing softness and clarity to the guilloché dial of the SHH Edition.

This edition seamlessly integrates a steel case and bracelet, a hand-knurled platinum bezel, and a finely guillochéd minimalist “Sunlit Ivory” dial with 18ct rose gold hour markers. Positioned at 12 o’clock, the PF logo is nestled in a vertical, oval, double-edged appliqué with extensive finishing – a harbinger of the level of care put into the collection. The indices of each timepiece are set across two levels of the dial, while the Grain d’Orge guilloché dial pattern is the finest imaginable. Any smaller and it would not have been visible; any larger and it would be too conspicuous, failing to achieve the Maison’s aim of making this timepiece imperceptibly refined and dedicated to exclusivity.

Not for the sake of exclusivity but to enhance the play of light and provide a more artisanal touch when polished by hand.
The design language of the case band also deserves closer examination. It is not straight, but rather slightly tapered, i.e., wider near the bezel and narrower on the wrist. This provides an elevated sense of poise and refinement to the overall aesthetics. The surface features a horizontal-satin-finished all around, as is the upper surface of the lugs.
The Tonda PF Automatic 36mm Sunlit Ivory SHH Edition measures 36mm in diameter and beats to the rhythm of the in-house Caliber PF770. In accordance with the standards enforced at Parmigiani Fleurier, this movement has been specially developed to fit into the 36mm case, is endowed with a 60-hour power reserve, and meets the highest finishing requirements – including beveled steel and decorated surfaces.
