It was the start of an exceptional story. Christiaan van der Klaauw Astronomical Watches is the only atelier in the world that is completely devoted to the design and the production of exclusive, hand-made astronomical watches.
In 1974, Christiaan van der Klaauw established his own atelier, unveiling his first clock adorned with astronomical complications. He received in 1989 an honorable membership of the Swiss Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants (AHCI).
In the modern atelier of Christiaan van der Klaauw Astronomical Watches every watch is made with great care and love. The mechanical masterpieces are all designed and manufactured in the atelier of Christiaan van der Klaauw in the city Naarden.
All exquisite timepieces are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, using only the finest materials. Produced in exceptionally limited quantities each year, every watch is regarded as a limited edition.
