Singapore, November 2022 — Armin Strom has announced the Gravity Equal Force SHH Edition, a remarkable timepiece to celebrate the collaboration with Sincere Haute Horlogerie (SHH). Limited to only eight pieces, the eye-catching timepiece stands out with its striking salmon-coloured movement plate that is hand-guilloched by Kari Voutilainen. With its skeletonized dial, the watch offers an extraordinary view of the exquisitely finished manufacture movement, underscoring the brand’s passion for openworked mechanics, which are at the very heart of its design philosophy.
Since it was first launched in 2019, Armin Strom’s Gravity Equal Force has made an impression on
watch enthusiasts, and aficionados in Singapore are certain to share that passion. Like all the
timepieces in the family, the Gravity Equal Force SHH Edition has constant force transmission – a world
first – which results in consistent power delivery to the balance. This means that the watch always
delivers flawless constant precision. Its ASB 19 caliber offers a power reserve of 72 hours.

Armin Strom’s commitment to innovation is demonstrated convincingly by the movement’s “stop work” mechanism, which prevents the mainspring from fully unwinding to only leverage on the part of the unwinding process that can deliver power most consistently. Several design features contribute to the Gravity Equal Force SHH Edition’s striking aesthetic presentation.
Its salmon-coloured movement plate is hand-guilloched by celebrated Finnish watchmaker, Kari Voutilainen, to create a distinctive guilloche pattern. Kari Voutilainen is also a close friend of Armin Strom’s founders, Claude Greisler and Serge Michel. A striking skeletonized dial provides an unobstructed view of the mechanical mysteries inside the case, and the hands – created entirely in house – are plated in 18-karat 5N rose gold. The breathtaking Gravity Equal Force SHH Edition was designed and produced in-house at the brand’s manufacture in Biel, Switzerland. Like every Armin Strom watch, its movement is assembled twice. After the initial assembly, the movement is carefully disassembled and each individual part is cleaned, dried, reassembled and lubricated before being meticulously regulated, tested, and returned to the case.
While groundbreaking technology is a defining part of each Armin Strom timepiece, the brand’s design and craftsmanship also sets the Gravity Equal Force SHH Edition apart. Presented in a classic 41 mm stainless-steel case, the Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force SHH Edition comes with a black alligatorleather strap, rounding out a presentation that is at once timeless and resolutely contemporary. Only 8 pieces of the Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force SHH Edition timepieces will be created, with each of them engraved “ONE OF EIGHT” as a mark of its exclusivity.
