The stated goal of Moritz Grossmann was and is to produce watches that are clear in design, advanced in mechanics and perfect in performance. We are committed to this tradition. 1854: Carl Moritz Grossmann was invited by F.A. Lange to establish his atelier in Glashütte.
1878: The German School of Watchmaking in Glashütte was established thanks to Grossmann’s initiative.
1885: Grossmann died unexpectedly on 23 January in Leipzig.
2008: Christine Hutter recognized Grossmann’s accomplishment and founded Grossmann Uhren GmbH.
2010: The first model BENU was presented.
2012: The company relocated to the new manufacture building. Present: The brand has launched more than 15 calibers and 30 models. Watch collectors appreciate the quality of timepieces and give credits to the brand.
