ARMIN STROM UNVEILS THE TRIBUTE 1 SHH EDITION TO COMMEMORATE THE GRAND OPENING OF SHH IN KUALA LUMPUR

The launch of Sincere Fine Watches’ latest concept boutique, SHH in Kuala Lumpur, spotlights the intricacies and marvels of independent watchmaking, delivering a uniquely luxurious retail experience tailored for Malaysia’s most discerning watch connoisseurs.

Spanning across a dual-storey duplex, this pioneering concept store represents Sincere’s debut as a multi-concept space. On the ground floor, discover a luxurious boutique that showcases the best of what horology has to offer, while the upper level introduces an innovative dining experience featuring seasonal culinary delights curated by renowned chefs.

Following the successful launch of the Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force SHH Edition back in 2022, Armin Strom and Sincere Watch Group are proud to present their second exclusive collaborative effort dedicated to the boutique concept – the Armin Strom Tribute 1 SHH Edition. A limited series of 12 pieces endowed with a tremblage salmon offset dial and a sunbrushed steel plate, this SHH Edition reimagines Armin Strom’s alternative take on the classical three-hand “dress watch”.

Sincere Fine Watches has nurtured a culture of haute horlogerie and championed the values of artisanship and innovation that the Armin Strom manufacture holds so dearly. With the SHH (Sincere Haute Horlogerie) concept boutique, independent creators like Armin Strom are highlighted in a dedicated space, with exceptional special editions crafted exclusively for SHH.

Every detail of the Armin Strom Tribute 1 SHH Edition is elevated to the finest standards, where minimalism is merged with mechanical intrigue to offer a three-hand timepiece that is visually harmonious and mechanically exceptional.

Housed within a slender 38mm steel case and with the crown unusually positioned at 2 o’clock, the Tribute 1 SHH Edition’s dial is dramatically different from other Tribute 1 series. The dial plate is crafted in stainless steel, decorated with a sun-brushed finish that appears to move with the light. The off-centered dial has a tremblage finish and is crafted in a salmon tone, recalling chronometers of the 1800s. Void of any markers, the dial is surrounded by a raised steel ring with a railway track for the minutes and seconds.

The Tribute 1 SHH Edition has 100 hours of power reserve, an impressive feat for a single mainspring barrel.

Held by an open finger-style bridge is the Tribute 1’s innovative “motor barrel”. Prominently displayed, it is distinguished by an arbor that turns around the mainspring within the barrel itself, making it far more efficient than traditional constructions, while also conserving space. The Tribute 1 SHH Edition has a power reserve of 100 hours – an impressive feat for a single mainspring barrel. Showcasing Armin Strom’s mastery of elaborate hand-finishing, the in-house developed and manufactured manual-winding calibre AMW21 is elaborately finished throughout. It incorporates various finishing techniques to embellish its purest movement to date. The steel case back with a sapphire crystal is also engraved with “ONE OF TWELVE” to highlight its exclusivity.

The finishing touch to the Tribute 1 Fumé is the velvety-soft and supple Grey Alcantara calf leather strap with white stitching – a subtle nod to Armin Strom’s First Edition of the Tribute 1 launched in 2021.

The Armin Strom Tribute 1 SHH Edition not only celebrates the close partnership between Armin Strom and Sincere Fine Watches, but also offers a refreshing and unique interpretation of the existing Tribute 1 collection.
