GENUS, a name derived from Latin meaning "A new class, a beginning," reflects the brand's philosophy and commitment to innovation. Founded in 2018 by Sébastien Billières and Catherine Henry, the brand's journey began with a vision to redefine traditional watch design, setting the stage for a new era in timekeeping. This commitment to pushing boundaries was recognized in 2019 when GENUS was honored with the Mechanical Exception Prize at the Grand Prix Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG).
