The first Octo was launched in 2012 deeply reworking a Gerald Genta design from 2004. Neither round nor square, but a harmonious and balanced symbiosis of the two shapes, its eight-sided structre framed by a round bezel proclaimed a break with the aesthetic conventions of classic watches. In 2017, the Octo Roma collection (re-designed in 2022) opened a new chapter and elevated the octagonal watch to a new level of modern sophistication.
Octo Roma collection draws its inspiration from the octagonal shape of the Roman Basilica of Massenzio. It is timeless and versatile, from regular to high-end and to reinforce “l’estetica della meccanica”; exploiting the best of Swiss traditional savoir-faire and overpassing the technical challenges with design-oriented solutions.
