The Czapek & Cie. Faubourg de Cracovie “Crossroads” Victory Green Chronograph, unites contemporary horology with sporty elegance in a limited edition of 18 pieces.
Housed in a 41.5 mm stainless steel case, the chronograph features a reinterpreted “Double Soleil” guilloché dial, designed to evoke the profile of a sports car tyre. The Victory Green hue, achieved through PVD treatment, subtly reduces light reflections, enhancing legibility with every movement of the wrist. Recessed 30-minute and 12-hour counters at 3 and 9 o’clock are finished with diamond-polished peripheries and discreet circular azurage at their centres. At 6 o’clock, the small seconds display integrates seamlessly into the dial, alongside a date aperture with a semi-instantaneous jumping date.
A deliberate design choice places the tachymeter scale on the dial’s periphery, where the flange is traditionally positioned. Once timing is initiated, it allows the average speed over a distance of one kilometre to be read with clarity.
Powering the watch is the COSC-certified self-winding SXH3 calibre, fitted with a 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight and offering a power reserve of approximately 65 hours. Operating at high frequency, the movement delivers one-tenth of a second timekeeping precision, enhanced chronometric performance in action, and increased resistance to shocks.
